Matt began DJing at the ripe old age of 15 using a mixer he designed and built in a technology class. He cut his teeth DJing at parties through his college years where he studied electronics, building a VCA mixer and Tri*Funk's first amplifier on the way.
Influenced by his parents disco albums he began his own vinyl collection as soon as he was given his first record voucher. Matt's love of house, soul and basically any vinyl with a 4/4 beat, kept him from buying his own CD player until 2006!
Matt's passion for music results in a mix of anything from retro grooves, to more funky tech house styles. Matt can still be found doing the odd mobile disco with Dazza-Tri-funk, as well as co-promoting and DJing for Tri*Funk
